Special issue "Development and applications of affinity separations in life sciences”

The Journal of Chromatography B has just announced a thematic special issue devoted to Affinity Chromatography. This special issue will consist of ReviewFull-length research, Short communication papers, as well as Protocols in this important and challenging research field. All papers will be subject to the journals’ strict international peer review policy.

Particular focus will be given to the following topics:

  • Immunoaffinity chromatography, Immunoaffinity extraction and Immunoaffinity mass spectrometry
  • Knowledge based materials such as molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs)
  • Other types of affinity ligands such as lectins, aptamers
  • Monolithic affinity media

Application fields include bioanalysis, clinical/diagnostics, but also the analysis of target analytes in foods. Papers that describe the analysis of small molecules/metabolites and large molecules (e.g. proteins) are equally welcome.

Further details and information on how to contribute to the special issue available here.
